The Hague Apostille Convention (officially the Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, 1961) simplifies document authentication between member countries. Since Seychelles is a member of this convention, its apostilled marriage certificate (or any official document) is recognized in all other Hague Convention countries without requiring further legalization.
